I bought these to fit the shelves of my upper kitchen cupboards. I wanted to take advantage of all the available space so I measured the height, depth and width of each shelf, then went looking for baskets as close to those dimensions as I could find. It was like these were made for my cabinets. Something I really like about them is that they're very squared up instead of getting narrower at the bottom, so they hold more and there is no wasted cabinet space. I use them to store all my small kitchen items and because everything is in a basket, I can take down the entire basket instead of trying to reach behind a dozen other small things for something in the back. One of baskets holds all the plastic tops to my small refrigerator containers. They're all corralled in one place without having to be perfectly nested, etc. To get to them, I simply slide the basket out, get what I need, and then put the basket back. The baskets are light weight but very sturdy. Because they're white and molded in a woven pattern, they match the cupboards nicely and things look tidy when you open the cabinet door. My husband had his doubts when I said I wanted to do this but even he loves it.
